Even the non rugby followers on the Shotley Peninsula can help East Grinstead Rugby club, which is trying to nominate Matt Ratana for the BBC unsung hero award. Matt was head coach at East Grinstead Rugby Club whose life was tragically cut short doing his job as a police officer. This would be a fitting tribute to this wonderful man.
