Medieval re-enactment gear recovered by police

Police are appealing for help to locate the owner of various items of medieval re-enactment gear found in Ipswich.

The equipment includes a helmet, tunic and chain-mail and used as part of a battle uniform, seen in displays at places like the Suffolk Food Hall, on the Shotley peninsula.

The items were found yesterday (Monday 14 December) at about 12.15pm by a member of the public at water treatment works on Sproughton Road.

Anyone knows who they belong to or has information at to how they got there should contact Ipswich police, quoting CAD 121 of 14 December 2020.
