Man left with serious injuries after collision on the Strand

Police are appealing for witnesses to a two-vehicle road traffic collision in Wherstead last night.

The incident took place along The Strand shortly before 10:05pm yesterday, Wednesday 3 August, when a grey SEAT Ibiza was involved in a collision with a white Vauxhall Crossland.

The driver of the SEAT, a man aged in his 20s, suffered life changing injuries and was taken to Ipswich Hospital for treatment.

His passenger, and the occupants of the Vauxhall Crossland were not injured.

Witnesses, or anyone with CCTV or dash cam footage that may have captured the collision or the manner of driving beforehand, is asked to contact the roads policing team, quoting 37/49683/22, via:
