Holbrook fire crew help rescue woman stuck in the mud between Brantham and East Bergholt

Holbrook fire crew were among rescuers saving a woman who was stuck in mud this afternoon.

Four fire crews were called to the emergency just before 4pm this afternoon when they Coastguard reported a woman trapped in the mud by the River Stour between Brantham and East Bergholt.

Engines from Woodbridge and Ipswich with specialist equipment went to the incident where the woman was extracted.
