If all the hassle of going abroad is not for you, then a jaunt across the water to Harwich could be just the thing, as this foot-tapping YouTube video shows.

Here we have Isabella Roy (with Corinne Willson and Lucy-Jane Quinlan) sings 'Holiday In Harwich', one of 21 original songs from the original cast CD from the musical "Guardian Angels", which was first performed at The New Wolsey Studio Theatre, in 2016.

It is the story of three musical theatre actresses that get 'cut' auditioning for 'The End of The Pier Show', and, stranded in Harwich for the night decide to write their own musical.

However, be warned, as one visitor wrote:

"I visited Harwich and I'm sorry to say - never again.

My family and I were on the beach and in front of a load of small children this rather shabby looking man started to scream at this older looking woman. He then tried to snatch her baby from her arms.

She (rightly) started to scream at him and then hit him (in front of the children ) then it really kicked off!

There was tooing and froing and eventually the police turned up. The poor policeman couldn't calm the man and was assaulted so the policeman had no choice but to draw his baton and hit the man several times really hard. But that didn't stop the man and he got up and managed to wrangle the baton from the policemen and beat the policemen with it.

Then a crocodile turned up and ate the sausages.

Enjoy the sunshine."

Another good thing is you will not have to quarantine for 14 days upon return, although you may want to spend half an hour or so in the Shipwreck or Bristol Arms, to acclimatise.
