Fire crews rescue muntjac from Orwell

A specialist crew of water rescue Suffolk firefighters last night saved a muntjac deer from the River Orwell.

Crews from Princes Street and Ipswich East fire stations successfully rescued the muntjac the Orwell on Stoke Quay after it became trapped.

A Swift Water Rescue Team was deployed by boat and safely brought the deer to land where it was released uninjured
