The Harwich Harbour Ferry service between Shotley, Harwich and Felixstowe will not be running today due to mechanical issues.

The operator plans to resume normal service tomorrow (Friday) and has also put on extra ferry times to help people get to the Shanty Festival on Friday and Saturday.

A rail strike will affect travel plans from Manningtree to Harwich.

In addition to the usual operating timetable, these are extras early evening ferry times.
