Ferry cancelled today but extra times from Shotley to Harwich for shanty festival as rail strike hits

The Harwich Harbour Ferry service between Shotley, Harwich and Felixstowe will not be running today due to mechanical issues.
The operator plans to resume normal service tomorrow (Friday) and has also put on extra ferry times to help people get to the Shanty Festival on Friday and Saturday.
A rail strike will affect travel plans from Manningtree to Harwich.
In addition to the usual operating timetable, these are extras early evening ferry times.
Harwich to Shotley running at 1650
Shotley to Harwich running at 1700
Harwich to Shotley running at 1750
Shotley to Harwich running at 1800
The ferry has a capacity for 58 passengers and no reservations are required.
The two day festival will see scores of different acts perform throughout Harwich's pubs and open spaces, with many events are free.
