Update May 4: Partial Lockdown guide

Not only are people suffering medically from the coronavirus pandemic, but there is also huge economic hardship, isolation and mental health issues.

It has been confirmed four people on the Shotley peninsula have died while showing Covid-19 symptoms, while figures from Ipswich hospital confirm hundreds of lives, including a peninsula paramedic, have been saved as we look to get on top of the virus.

Striking the right balance going forward on the peninsula is going to be important and there is bound tp be some uncertainty about what is allowed and what is going on.

This page aims to provide a comprehensive guide to all the latest updates as the lockdown softens but also what services, grants and support are available to residents and businesses alike.

We will provide links to latest Covid-19 articles, so you never miss out on the latest news affecting the Shotley peninsula.
