Come Hither cake and pizza sale for Ukrainian Red Cross enjoys brighter day in Holbrook

A pizza and cake sale to raise funds for the Ukrainian Red Cross is back on today.

Come Hither Gallery, on the the right as you head in to Holbrook from the Freston junction on Ipswich Road, almost opposite Denmark gardens, is hosting the fundraising event until 5pm.

A variety of fire oven pizzas and range of cakes, including lemon drizzle, carrot and chocolate, are available in the gallery owners' garden, from 12noon.

After being hit by a rainy day the organisors are hoping for a better attended day today with the brighter weather.

The Wheatsheaf in Tattingstone is also collecting for the Ukrainian Red Cross by offering shots of Russian vodka for £5, with all the money going to #standwithUkraine.

Meanwhile, St Michael's Church, Woolverstone, is collecting donated goods. Simply drop off before dusk each evening.
