Cloudy water alert

Anglian Water has apologised after a burst main left many people on the peninsula with low pressure and discoloured water.

Action was quickly taken last night with workmen on site in Lings Lane between Chelmondiston and Holbrook, but hundreds of homes were affected.

Repairs were completed by 6am this morning but the water company warned taps may run discoloured water for a while.

An Anglian Water spokesperson apologised for the disruption and said for more details on cloudy water go to the Anglian Water website here.
