Biker taken to hospital in latest crash on A14 near Wherstead

A14 traffic was at standstill after lorry and motorcyclist collision

A biker is recovering in hospital after being involved in an accident on the A14 between the Wherstead and Copdock junctions.

Police were called to the scene of the collision, on the eastbound A14 just before 3pm today.

A Suffolk police spokesman said the motorcyclist's injuries are not life-threatening or life-changing but has been taken to hospital by ambulance.

There continues to be is heavy traffic in both directions as police clear the road, with westbound traffic on the A14 stretching from the Nacton side of the Orwell Bridge.
