Arrests made after drugs seized at peninsula picnic area

Suffolk police arrested two people after drugs and cash were seized at a picnic area on the peninsula.

Officers swooped on Cattawade picnic site, by the River Stour, just after 9pm last night.

An adult and a teenage male were arrested by officers from the area's police team for possession of cannabis with intent to supply, after more than 70g of cannabis and cash were seized.

The teenager was also arrested for being in charge of a vehicle while over the drug drive limit.
