All your peninsula parish council election status officially revealed

Chelmondiston will be the only parish council on the Shotley peninsula to be contested after 12 people stood for the 11 seats available.

Voters will be asked to cast their vote on Thursday 4 May, and Chelmondiston Village Hall.

The 12 candidates are in alphabetical order:

Bareham Rob

Barwick Douglas Charles George

Beacon Andrew John

Cordle Dot

Cordle David Russell

Keeble Colin

Kirkup Rosie

Lyrick Scott Peter

Melville Ian Leslie

Price Chris

Stevens Morley

Ward Peter Every

Meanwhile, Brantham, Erwarton, Harkstead, Holbrook, Shotley, Stutton, Tattingstone, Wherstead and Woolverstone will all be uncontested.

If any parishes are short of numbers they can co-opt after the election.
