Air Ambulance called to motorcyclist accident in Woolverstone

Suffolk police had confirmed an air ambulance today landed on a main road on the peninsula to assist a motorcyclist after an accident in Woolverstone.

Police were called just before 2.30pm today to reports of a single vehicle collision involving a motorcycle on Main Road in the village and officers confirmed the rider has suffered serious injuries.

The B1456, was closed between Harkstead Lane and Freston Street due to the accident for much of the afternoon. See latest update on road here
