Details of this year's remembrance service at Shotley's St Mary's Church have been revealed, with slight changes to the usual order.

Instead of the service first in the church, then going out to face the cold Autumnal weather, wreaths will be laid first at the Royal Naval war cemetery, starting at 1045, on Sunday November 14.

The Last Post and reveille will be played and prayers told, before the congregation will be invited to go into the relatively warm church.

Andrew Coulson will lead the church service, the national anthem will played and Grace will be spoken before the march out to music.

All are welcome.
