Chelmondiston's Neighbourhod Plan has been formally adopted by Babergh.

In an 'out of meeting' decision taken on Wednesday 2 March, the district council agreed to adopt ('make') the Chelpin plan.

This NDP now forms part of the development plan and will be used to help decide planning applications in the parish, unless material considerations indicate otherwise.

Babergh's adoption follows a local referendum held in the village on 24 February which was won on a majority 'Yes' vote.
