Key Responsibilities:• Plan and deliver engaging history lessons that foster historical understanding, critical thinking, and an appreciation for the events that shaped our world.• Cultivate a supportive learning environment that encourages active participation, historical inquiry, and a lifelong fascination with the stories of the past.• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic and personal development in history.• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the overall improvement of the history department.• Actively participate in historical-related extracurricular activities and contribute to the wider school community.

Qualifications:• A relevant degree in History, Humanities, or a related field.• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.• Demonstrated experience as a History Teacher at the secondary school level.• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.• A commitment to ongoing professional development and a desire to stay current with educational best practices.
