We are delighted to announce that this Summer at Wherstead Park the acclaimed coloratura soprano, Christina Johnston, will return to perform at our Opera in the Park on the 15th July 2023.

Since her last performance in 2022, she's had a No. 1 single in the iTunes classical charts and performed with Russell Watson, so we are honoured that she's returning to Wherstead Park for 2023!

Our new and improved Wherstead Park garden & Repton terrace will provide the perfect backdrop for you to enjoy a delicious picnic with a glass of fizz, while listening to an unforgettable performance by Christina.

With both reserved sheltered seating and general admission tickets available, it promises to be an incredible afternoon.

This is not a weather-dependent event, if rain is forecast the performance will continue and our wet weather contingency will be put in place.

Please dress sensibly for the British weather, reserved seating tickets will be allocated under the canopy of our giant stretch marquee.

We open the grounds at 12.30pm for drinks and background music, with Christina taking to the stage at 2pm.
