A treat for the ears in a very special setting

After the incredible success of last years' concert. We are delighted announce that this Summer at Wherstead Park the acclaimed coloratura soprano, Christina Johnston, will return to perform at our Opera in the Park on the 20th August 2022.

Since her last performance in 2021, she's had a No1 single in the iTunes classical charts and performed with Russell Watson, so we are honoured that she's returning to Wherstead Park for 2022!

Our new and improved Wherstead Park garden & Repton terrace area will provide the perfect backdrop for you to enjoy a delicious picnic with a glass of fizz, while listening to an unforgettable performance by Christina. 

With both reserved sheltered seating and general admission tickets available from just £7.50 + booking fee, it promises to be an incredible afternoon.

Pre order picnics are available to order ( last food orders by 15th August or feel free to bring your own.*

This is not a weather dependent event, if rain is forecast the performance will continue and our wet weather contingency will be put in place. Please do dress sensibly for the British Weather, reserved seating tickets will be allocated under the canopy of our giant stretch marquee offering shelter or shade depending on the weather.
