Peninsula siblings selected for Great Britain hockey internationals

Brother and sister Harry and Hannah Martin from Holbrook have been named among the the 41 Great Britain men and women chosen to represent their nation in the teams' first games of the new FIH Pro League 2022/23 season,

Britain's squads fly to Argentina for a mini tournament of games against hockey powerhouses Argentina and the Netherlands in Santiago del Estero as part of a new structure for the FIH Pro League this season.

It will be an extra special moment for older brother Harry who has returned to the GB squad as the men's squad's most-capped current player with 105 appearances, for what will be his first international games since lining up for England at last summer's EuroHockey Championships,

Hannah, who has been a regular in the women's side, is expected to add to her 45 caps and 10 goals for GB.

All Great Britain games will be live on BT Sport. Games between Argentina and Netherlands will either be on BT Sport or free on watch.hockey depending on TV schedules.
