James Parker was almost lost for words as a shocking second half showing cost his tepid Tattingstone side's unbeaten league run.

Cruising 2-0 at half-time, Tattingstone conceded four second half goals Bacton United 89 Firsts at Bourne Vale.

Early goals from Isaac Keinzley and Lesal Thompson in a one sided 45 minutes were totally undone with a terrible Tattingstone display as reorganised Bacton played through them with ease.

Tattingstone manager Parker's frustration was evident at full time when he told Nub News: "We got too comfortable.

"We thought we had won the game and stopped playing the way we had done so well in the first 20 minutes or so.

"Then it just got away from us and I really don't know what to say."

The loss could been even worse but for the Tattingstone keeper who saved a penalty and stood firm on another coupe of occasions.

They might have gone down to 10 men if the referee had seen a Tatt defender's retaliatory off the ball kick on a prone Bacton player.

The defeat ended Tattingstone's 15 game unbeaten run in the SIL Division One. but United remain top two points ahead of Cockfield who have a game in hand.

With promotion to the senior division a possibility Parker underlined the club's desire to actually play in the village but will only be able to do so if the facilities at Green Lane are upgraded.

"We have always wanted señor football at Tatt but the facilities are just not there."

Parker's side take on Grundsburgh at their Bourne Vale home next Saturday, with a 2.30pm kick off.
