Tattingstone United kept their promotion hopes very much on track with a convincing 9-1 win at peninsula rivals Woolverstone at Hazelwoods..

A couple of Goals from Lewis Huggins and Ashley Blow, with Lesal Thompson, Marius Aitkens and Isaac Keinzley all weighing in, with an own goal helped United romp home.

Woolverstone's single consolation came while three down and they will be glad to be able to regroup during the summer.

Parker's side moved into second spot, a point behind Somersham, of the Ipswich and Suffolk League DivisionOne with three games to play, starting away at bottom club Wenhaston next Saturday, April 29.

They then travel to Stowupland Falcons in Claydon, on Tuesday, May 2 before a huge home clash with promotion rivals Cockfield on May 6, where a different sort of Coronation will take place that afternoon.

Woolverstone wrap up their season at Stowupland on May 6.
