Holbrook Swan came from behind to beat rivals Shotley Rose in the Lee Adams Memorial Trophy at Reade Field.

The Rose went ahead moments before half time with a well-taken headed goal from a corner.

The greens of Shotley squandered an opportunity to go further ahed but were denied from the penalty spot by Ollie Abbott.

Ben Hubbard equalised for the Swans who then cut loose.

Drew Connick bagged a brace and although The Rose got one back they could not find a late leveller in front of a decent crowd, including many from the Adams' family, on Wednesday morning.
