The festive holidays are over and Shotley peninsula Nub News wants to help you usher in the new by continuing to spread the good word of our community and report on the stories that matter to you.
In the 10 months we have been in operation we're proud to have told hundreds of stories from around the peninsula.
UPDATES:
Brooklands in Brantham will also remain closed today (Monday) and tomorrow , along with the rest of Orwell Multi Academy Trust's six schools.

I love my job, I love to see how I can make a difference in a young persons life.
I have been an active member of Voice Community, the negotiating, the non- striking union for over 25 years.
Shotley peninsula Nub News loves writing positive stories and you have provided us with plenty of opportunities to do just that.
Of course we have to write the not so good news stories, and we will never be afraid to scrutinise or call out those whose actins affect the people on the peninsula and that includes local authorities, various leaders including MPs, councillors and anyone else that spends public money. We will also focus on those running community groups, charities and other organisations using our money.
