Lovers of animals and the workings of farms will be able to enjoy the popular open day on the Shotley peninsula again this year

With two months until LEAF Open Farm Sunday on June 27, which will see peninsula farmers among those opening their farm gates to the public, organisers Linking Environment And Farming (LEAF) have today announced the appointment of eight ambassadors to support farmers, crofters and smallholders taking part.
