Lisa Thomas, the curator and inspiration behind Come Hither, on the Ipswich Road in the village has put together and eclectic collection of prints, drawings, paintings, pottery and jewellery reflecting the beauty of this part of East Anglia.

Public health bosses are expecting tourism levels on he Shotley peninsula and other coastal areas in Suffolk to be back up to 100% of pre-Covid levels from August, prompting an action plan for managing infection spread this summer season.
And it means holidaymakers and day-trippers along the Suffolk coast are likely to see extra measures in place such as additional public toilets, mobile teams handing out test kits in tourism hotspots, and QR code and logbook requirements for venues.

Cyclists are being urged too leave the wonderful peninsula this Sunday and instead sign up for a a charity ride across the river.
Felixstowe Fire Station and Suffolk Fire & Rescue Service are inviting cyclists of all abilities to join them in taking part in their annual cycle sportive, the Suffolk Fire Ride.

A volunteer vacancy for a Poppy Appeal Organiser has become available in Woolverstone due to the retirement of the Rosemary Blackburn.
Details are listed in the attached poster and it is hoped the new volunteer will be in place for the next Poppy Appeal, which organisers are optimistic will take place between October 28 to November 14 2021.
