A coroner has said measures should be taken to improve the A137 at Tattingstone after a 21-year-old was killed after colliding head on with another car.
Thomas Pickering, who Suffolk Coroners' Court today heard was from Woolverstone, was taking his girlfriend Alicia Hayles to Manningtree to catch a train in August last year, when the collision occurred.

Councillors from the Shotley peninsula have pledged to support Suffolk's offer to support resettlement of Afghan refugees.
The peninsula will be among a number of areas in Babergh that could be asked to take in Afghan refugees under a Government resettlement scheme, .
A cannabis factory has been found in a flat in Chelmondiston.
Police responded to a report of cannabis plants being grown at a house in Church Road and went into the flat round 10.45pm Tuesday (August 17).

An investigation has been launched after a young boy was hospitalised when goalposts fell on to him.
The youngster, named only as Riley, is understood to be part of Brantham Athletic under-10s squad, was hurt when a set of goalposts he and a friend were looking to use, collapsed on top him.

Concerns for a 22-year-old missing man last seen in Shotely are increasing s Suffolk police put out a fresh appeal to find him.
Mason Seymour was last seen at around 2.30am on Thursday 29 July in the Shotley area but he was reported missing to police at around 8pm on Wednesday 4 August.

Positive cases of Covid-19 have continued on a downward trend on the Shotley peninsula, along with other areas within Babergh and the rest of Suffolk councils, bar one.
Data up to yesterday, 15 August, show 146 people in the district were tested positive within the past week, the lowest in the county, and leaves Babergh 302nd out of 358 areas in the country.
