Today marks a year to the day of start of the first lockdown.The total number of Covid-19 deaths in the UK since the pandemic began is now 126,172, according to official Government figures. Every one is a mother, other, brother sister, son or daughter.
The number of people who have tested positive for the virus increased by 5,432 on Monday, bringing the total number of infections to 4,301,925.Today we are asked to observe minutes silence at 12noon, shine at light or stand on your doorstep at 8pm, or quietly reflect in your own day sometime today.
