Motorists on the A14 were delayed this morning after police closed the road over the Orwell Bridge.

Police shut the road both ways at 08.00 this morning but were expecting to reopen within an hour.

A Suffolk Highways statement confirmed: "The A14 Orwell Bridge in Suffolk is closed in both directions between J56 and J57, due to a police led incident."
