While some pubs on the peninsula have stayed open following the new year celebrations, others are now coming out of hibernation, while others are still going through a refresh.

The Freston Boot, which missed out on all the seasonal festivities due to staff shortage, unlocks their doors from noon tomorrow (Tuesday), and have a new winter/spring menu on offer.

Meanwhile, The White Horse in Tattingstone has clarified that they are open as normal serving food and drink as usual, and are inviting teams to go along and join in their quiz on Thursday, January 28.

The Bull at Brantham has started its Meet Up Wednesday'sinitiative in conjunction with the Rural Caravan and the Suffolk Good Neighbours Scheme. Get along at 10am for a couple of hours of chat over a free cuppa.

The Bristol Arms is also doing another of its infamous, and very popular Sunday quiz, with teams up to six invited to a 7pm start on January>>>>
