The Babergh cabinet member for the environment Sian Dawson has been picked out for her commitment to recycling after being captured on video nibbling her own particular waste product.

Cllr Dawson, who represents Hadleigh North, was shown in a humourous, if slightly embarrassing moment, during Monday's Babergh cabinet meeting picking her nose, and then putting the content in her mouth.

A person can be heard tittering at the 12 second clip, which has been shared on social media, with Nub News being sent a clip from YouTube, which has the potential to go viral.

One comment included said: "I see the member for environment is really doing her bit for recycling."

"Another said: "Go on girl, root it out."
